Chun Mee
Chun Mee translates as ‘precious eyebrows’ because of the curved shape of the rolled leaves. Manufactured with great skill, after picking and drying, the leaf must be rolled at the correct temperature, for the correct amount of time to achieve the desired curve. The dark jade leaves give a light amber liquid with a soft, smooth, slightly plummy flavour. A lovely subtle tasting green tea, perfect for trying green tea for the first time whilst still a fantastic, rich taste for those who drink green tea often. 1 teaspoon per cup, boiling water should never be used on green tea as this burns the leaves, burnt leaves is the reason many think green tea tastes bitter, when made correctly with no more than 80 degree water, there is no bitter taste and the sweet flavours of the leaves come through. Brew for 2-3 minutes then strain
Available in a full size packet for the store cupboard or a sample packet of at least 10 cups of tea, perfect for trying it out or as a gift
