Peppermint Green
China Chun Mee green tea infused with peppermint flavours. Chun Mee translates as ‘precious eyebrows’ because of the curved shape of the rolled leaves. Manufactured with great skill, after pickingand drying, the leaf must be rolled at the correct temperature, for the correct amount of time to achieve the desired curve. The dark jade leaves give a light amber liquid with a soft, smooth, slightly plummy flavour. Peppermint extract is then infused after the drying process. One of my personal favourites for its fresh taste without the repeating you get with some mint teas. 1 teaspoon per cup, after boiling, cool the water to 80 degrees prior to adding the leaves so as not to burn them, steep for 2-3 minutes and then strain.
